Wattles, Charles Haanel, Ernest Homes, and Catherine Ponder — to name only these?

These daily acts of gratitude help our positive thoughts build up into a permanent uplifting and happy vibe, cultivating this amazing thankful attitude on a daily basis is well worth thinking about! Finally, I realized that I am grateful also for things I even considered as misfortunes in the past! I suddenly felt immensely grateful for my mother having insisted that I study law, and not musical education, or working as a recording technician, as I had dreamt of in my times of youth. I realized that without having studied law, I would not understand our social and political world so well, and the structures of power in every kind of society, and even in every group of people. And I would not have come to understand how important social policy is, and how much a good social policy making contributes to peace, and how much a bad or neglected one contributes to war and civil war! A thankful person is thankful under any circumstances. It is impossible to be critical/blame/sad, when you are grateful. First, as difficult as it may be, you have to look for things to be grateful for in a situation. no matter how bad things are, you can always find something to be grateful for. The exercises, designed to be followed every day for 28 days, help us to build an ' attitude of gratitude' almost like flexing and training a muscle in a gym. Before we start the daily exercise, the first thing Rhonda recommends is to be specific about our wants. Dividing our life into categories describe exactly what we'd like - she suggests Work, money, wealth, relationships, personal desires and material things.

The author Rhonda Byrne is a true alchemist herself and this book is for sure her initiative to turn each of the thirsty soul to a chemist's themselves.

If anyone whom you love(friend, relation) who is having a difficult time due to a bad health, bad finance, bad relationships, lost job, or any other thing, then imagine that the person’s problem has been solved, feel grateful for that-imagine how happy that person is. The bottom line of ungratefulness is that when we’re not grateful, we’re taking; we’re taking things in our life for granted. When we takethings for granted we are unintentionally taking from ourselves. The law of attraction says that like attracts like, so if we take something forgranted, we will be taken from as a result. Remember, “whoever does not have gratitude, even what he or she has will be taken from himor her.”

Thank you, thank you, thank you, I do LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book! I have found that the magic is everywhere. I only needed to put it into practice properly so I could see the magical changes happening in every area of my life. You know what they say about making plans in your life? The God of my understanding had something else in mind. I wrote above that I was going to do The Magic a second time only do it differently. That didn't happen. I told a few people about it while I waited for the other two women to finish with their first cycle. Well, I told enough people that I had a group of 12, across the USA, all starting on the same day. I put a distribution list together and we all share, only if you want to, what magical things are occurring in our lives. As that cycle progressed, I was brought more people to tell and now, there is a group of 27 of us, all across the USA, who are doing the practices.well before reading this book, i never thought about gratitude much. and life was okay. things were good. Today, choose 3 situations for being grateful, before expecting magnificent outcome. Imagine how you will feel after the magnificent outcome. When we have difficult relationship, these can improve ONLY when we are grateful to the other person at least for a few things. Blame, anger or hatred makes relationships worse. These burn your life. Gratitude heals. Go to the mirror. Look directly at the person in the mirror & loudly say, Thank You’ with all your heart (max feeling). Say Thank You for everything that you are!. Be more grateful to yourself than anyone else, any other thing. Do it many times today. Say 3 things about yourself that you are grateful for. When you are grateful, you do not blame yourself or others, when you make a mistake. Write on a card in bold letters- ‘The Gift of Health is Keeping me Alive’. Put it where you will see it often. Read slowly, one word at a time- many times & feel grateful- Min 4 times

My intent to just open the book and see what I needed for the day seems to not be what is needed at all. I love this practice so much that I bought a leather book cover (OMG it was pricey but worth it) for my book because it's not available in hard cover and I want to preserve this book. It's filled with my energy and I know me, I'll be doing this practice over and over for the rest of my life.Rhonda's book features a course of exercises, helping us to practice gratitude so that we can improve every area of our lives and dissolve the problems or negative situations we're experiencing. Many of us believe we're already grateful but as Rhonda points out, she thought this was true of herself until she discovered the real power of gratitude and by practicing daily gratitude in every part of our lives, what a difference this can make. Once you’ve completed the 28 magical practices, you can use particular practices to increase the magic where or when you have a specificneed, such as for health or money, or if you want to receive your dream job, have increased success in your work, or improve a relationship.Or to continue the practice of gratitude you can open this book at random, and whichever practice you open to is the one you attracted, so it’sthe perfect one to do that day.
