I think this seaside town is little known by us Brits because we didn’t hear a single English speaking person during our trip – which to us is a great sign of a good place to explore. We arrived on august 31st, the night we arrived it was a lively atmosphere and the kids got stuck straight into a foam party and various entertainment however it seemed we arrived as the season was coming to a close, for the majority of our holiday everything was closed (the bungees, hair braiding stall ect). If you go with a tent or tourer make sure you don't get a pitch in 'J' which is S of the bar and very noisy, or 'B' near to the pool area. Surrounded by forests and lakes filled with nature, we found camping de La Rive the perfect place for exploring. Unfortunately the Aquapark wasn’t open in April during our visit although I’ve seen plenty of photos and the place looks like so much fun for kids and adults alike, it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re staying during the peak Summer season.However, if you are on a main walkway/road than noise of passers by leaving the show can be a disturbance. There’s a wide range of different activities and on Thursday they even run an all day session where kids can stay from 10am till 6pm non-stop. The smoke alarm was a joke as it was triggered by the slightest hint of steam or opening an oven door with nothing in it. It was partially finished during our stay and I think they were waiting for 1 more climbing structure to be fully ready.
