This book is such a lovely thing, yes it’s an amazing collection of original and innovative recipes of course, but the rich cultural and historical journey it takes you on is a real delight too.

My current favourite cookbook, and can see it be will be alongside Diane Henry as one of the many books I own as a go to favourite.
