About this deal

The song races along with a pounding bass drum and make the chorus sound catchy along with its nice warm vocal harmonies. They band went from being a trio with their first album to a duo for the The Time album following the exit of bassist Craig Logan. It was released on 16 October 1989 and was their first album as a duo of twins Matt and Luke Goss, following the departure of bassist Craig Logan earlier in the year. The group’s previous albums shone a light on their strength as a live act, capturing the spontaneity and sonic stomp of a band of hard-touring road warriors.

They sold out tours and broke record/CD sales and created a teenage girl hysteria that was reminiscent of Beatlemania.Bros did a one-off concert, "Bros in 2 Summer", which was seen by over 77,000 fans at Wembley Stadium in August 1989. His conclusion about the album was that "it's difficult to see its appeal: while remaining distinctly juvenile, by losing its predecessor's essential innocence, it's a little too, er, challenging for [the US's] established market". In 2018 they released a documentary After The Screaming Stops which debuted at Number 1 on the Official Music Video Chart. In a retrospective review, William Ruhlmann of AllMusic noted that Bros were coming to the end of their popularity, and that their music had not travelled well across the Atlantic, saying, "As with most teenage heartthrobs, the music wasn't the point; all of these songs are heavily produced, glossy dance tracks in which Matt Goss's enthusiastic but thin vocals are the least noticeable aspect.

I should have read the description in more detail explaining that the record image was not the actual one that is to be dispatched so a little disappointed with the condition although accurate to the written description.

The track "Sister" was written about Matt and Luke's stepsister Carolyn, who was killed in a collision with a drunk driver in London in 1988. VG/EX means that the item's sleeve is in Very Good condition and the disc is in Excellent condition. This was no cheesy nostalgia-fest: Eighties band Bros are back and they mean business – London's 02 Arena, review".

Four singles were released from the album: "Too Much", "Chocolate Box", "Madly in Love" and "Sister". It ends with the kind of lyrics that would have made He-Man happy: “ don’t steal off your Mommas, don’t steal off your Fathers, don’t steal off your Brothers, don’t steal off your Friends“. This is POP RESCUE, and we're all about saving pop CDs and vinyl LPs that were released between 1980-2009.Luke Goss moved to the US and became a film actor, appearing in Hollywood movies such as Blade II and Hellboy II: The Golden Army. Although it never reached number one, the album was eventually certified quadruple platinum in the UK, [12] as well as double platinum in Australia, [ citation needed] platinum in New Zealand, [13] and gold in France, [14] Germany, [15] Spain [16] and Switzerland. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). They also planned [ clarification needed] to re-record their debut album Push in a more contemporary style, and to release an album of new material in the future.
