Alto Flute
The Alto flute is the next extension downward of the Flute in C. It is characterized by its distinct, mellow tone in the lower portion of its range.
Use this fantastic KS2 music game to help children learn what different musical symbols mean and improve their understanding of musical terminology. A fun twist on the classic game of dominoes, it can be used to teach children or to test their knowledge. Games are also a useful way to keep children engaged and focused on learning. Imagine dozens of these flying around the room. Get someone to call out the time signature and then try and find the balls to match (and throw any you don't need). The standard flute in C comes with a wide variety of options from the silver plated student models to flutes which are precious metal throughout. There is also the option of closed hole which the vast majority of student flutes are, or open hole which is more common in advanced models.
