About this deal

Henry HVR200A (AutoSave) - Launched in mid 2008 to replace the 200-22 cleaners, Henry vacuums with the new "AutoSave Low Energy System" boasted reduced energy usage compared to its predecessors. The machines used a form of soft start system, where they would always start the motor on low power. The user would then have the option to switch to high power using the spring loaded "Hi" switch. They were discontinued in 2014. James JVC225 - released in 1985, James had the top half of a Henry HVR200 and the bottom half of an NV250. Only available in grey, James JVC225 had a cable hook to store the cable. Because of his robust nature, he was tailored to the commercial market. Production ran from 1985 to 1988. If you’re looking for a straightforward cylinder vacuum that won’t let you down, the Henry is a great choice for carpets and hard floors. While it can be unwieldy to use on stairs and doesn’t have many advanced features, it has excellent filtration, strong suction power and provides great value.

Since its original launch in the 1980s, the Henry vacuum range has been a staple of homes and offices. But as the range grows, which one is best for you?Henry XL', 'Henry Pet' and 'Henry Wash' are newer versions which we will be explained later in this article.

Yes, certain models are able to clean things like your drains, standing water, or any spillages in the kitchen or bathroom. The Charles and the George are both made to be wet and dry vacuum cleaners. While the George also cleans carpets and upholstery, the Charles is able to sook up spillage without exploding. I have allergies. Do Henry have a vacuum cleaner I can use? David DVR200 - David is essentially a cheaper Henry HVR200, his toolkit incorporated plastic wands oppose to stainless steel. David DVR200 ran from 1989–1992. When all is said and done, however, the emphasis on function over form is also some of the appeal. Spare parts are abundant and your local appliance engineer is unlikely to be put off by a repair job. The latest George is built from tried and tested components and will, in all likelihood, last for years to come.

In dry mode, you attach one of the 15 litre bags to the inside, place the filter on top, connect the dry hose and use the suction button to start vacuuming. This mode comes with a floor head, crevice tool, dusting brush and an upholstery tool with a removable brush. There’s only one power setting, though the wand has an adjustable vent that can reduce the suction to a stated 70% when fully opened. It has a useful hi/low feature which allows you to switch seamlessly between the more powerful 1,200w and a lower 600w mode. It’s a great way to manage your electricity use. For most jobs, 600w will be more than enough power to get the job done, but occasionally, for really stubborn tasks, you might want to switch up to the more powerful 1,200w. This allows you to do just that. In the light of recent European legislation, though, Numatic have released a less powerful 620w model, but they’ve put in a huge effort to tune this up so despite the power drop you still get excellent performance – capable of meeting any job.

Henry the Hoover has become a mainstay in British households since his introduction in the early 1980s, meaning the original Henry Hoover has now been cleaning UK households and workplaces for more than fourty years. Famed for this smiling face and red colour, Henry has become a firm favourite and a vacuum of choice. Edward EVR370 - Larger red vacuum with a 15-litre capacity that was also available in blue, green and yellow, now discontinued.Henry Hound HHR200 - A Henry with an electric rotating brush, specialised for pet owners with a carbon filter. It came in green and was partially succeeded by Harry, which has an air-driven turbine head. Harry is a lot like his older brother Henry except he’s been design specifically for pet lovers. So, if you have a few four-legged friends running around this could be for you. John and Lewis (JL150) - Green and Purple, introduced on 7 July 2014 as a John Lewis & Partners limited edition, now discontinued on 10 February 2022.
