About this deal

Apply using a standard sealant gun. To ensure the best possible bond, always smooth the sealant down. However, masking tape can be used to improve joints appearance. Apply tape to both sides of the joint, removing within 5 minutes of application. CLEANING OF TOOLS

Lead grey in colour has high and low temperature resistance and excellent weathering properties make it incredibly useful and easy to work with compared to other sealing methods. EVERFLEX LEADMATE lead sealant & adhesive is a low modulus, neutral cure sealant specifically designed to give exceptional adhesion to soft metals such as lead, brass etc. Everbuild Everflex 175 is a sealant that is acrylic based & suitable for internal and external use. It provides a flexible long lasting seal that adheres to virtually all materials. In addition, Everbuild Everflex 175 can be overpainted. The Lead Mate can also be used to couple two leashes together for a double dog walk, fasten a leash around your waist for a hands-free jaunt or jog, or used as a tether, for securing a leash to a table at an outdoor cafe. The surfaces should be dry and free from dust, grease and other contaminants. We advise testing a small area before application to see whether the area will need primer, although priming is generally not essential. APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS

Because Lead Generation can be a daunting and complicated process to set up that requires a reliable partner, who delivers. Lead Mate made gripping Mingus and Dottie’s leashes much more comfortable than wrapping the leash around my fingers and hand, which is my usual habit. I always felt like I had good, firm control of the leash while using Lead Mate, and its grip seemed equally effective on both leather and rope leashes.

The shelf life extends to 24 months from the manufacturing date when stored as per the specified storage conditions. Both are strong self-adhesive flashing tapes that are made of aluminium foil and bitumen. Each tape type is waterproof and suitable for a range of applications, from repairing lead gutters to replacing lost flashing. They’re also available in a choice of sizes. When re-sealing lead make sure all old sealants are removed completely and any green mould or moss is treated with Everbuild 404 fungicidal wash. Everbuild Everflex LeadMate Sealant is a low modulus, neutral cure sealant specifically designed to give exceptional adhesion to soft metals such as lead, brass, copper and zinc etc. Everbuild External Frame Sealant provides a permanently flexible seal that is long-lasting & can be overpainted when cured.

Suitable For: sealing expansion joints, softer metals such as lead, copper and zinc, and parapet and roof weather sealing applications.
