The sprinkler comes to you set at its furthest distance. Your water pressure determines how far the spray will go. To shorten the distance for the green-nozzle model , insert the key into the flow control dial (it indicates ON and OFF) and turn left. You can shorten the distance down to almost nothing. A pie menu allows you to change the type of point you snap from/to. Use the same hotkey as the one you use to start the tool to display the menu.
